The cotton cord used to make this pot has been carefully hand dyed with acacia bark and speckled with lac. As proof of its organic nature, the colour may change slightly with time.

The earthy brown tones and pink specks have been extracted from the acacia bark and lac, then fixed onto the fibres with a non-toxic fixative.
