Bright indirect Light

A great spot for me would be in a bright room a little away from the window to avoid harsh sunlight that may scorch my leaves. A lot of exposure to harsh sunlight or extended periods of dark could cause my patterns to fade and weaken me.

In the spring and summer watch out for harsh sunlight but when autumn comes a couple of hours of direct sunlight in the morning or afternoon would work wonders for me.

Regular Watering

Be sure to leave the top two inches of my soil to dry out between waterings. Just poke your finger in to check the moisture levels - if you feel moisture don't water, if it feels dry it's time for a drink! Water thoroughly until you see it come out the bottom of the pot. But don't leave me sitting in a puddle as this can cause root rot. Thanks!

High Humidity

If I'm in a bright spot I love a good regular misting to keep me leaves hydrated and replicate my native rainforest environment. If in a darker spot reduce misting as it can build up mould on my soil and cause rot.

From time to time you could pop me in a shower and rinse my leaves to prevent dust build up and hydrate me.
