Plant Care
Botanical name - hoya linearis
Origin - The Himalayas
I'm an epiphytic plant living in the crevices of larger trees. Don't repot me very often as I like my roots to be close and cosy.
Bright Indirect Light
I like to be in a bright spot with ample light. Be careful not to put me in harsh midday sun during the warmer months as it can lead to my leaves wilting.
Regular Watering and High Humidity
In warmer weather I like to be kept a little moist but not soggy. Let the top inches of soil dry out before watering me again. Water until it runs out the bottom of the pot but don't leave me sitting in a puddle. Reduce watering in the wintertime when I am in my dormant phase.
Kitchens and bathrooms are great for me as the humidity is higher.
Care Tips
If repotting please use a well draining soil mix to prevent water-logging occurring around my roots. You can add in pearlite or orchid bark to increase the soils porosity.
