Plant Care
I'm an epiphytic rainforest plant which has these amazing flat dangling succulent leaves which in the bright indirect light turn an amazing red colour.
Botanical name - Rhipsalis ramulosa
Origin - South American Rainforests
Medium Light - shade tolerant
I like to see morning or afternoon sun, but be careful not to put me a strong direct midday sunlight. Pop me on a window ledge which has partial shade for at least one half of the day. The more bright indirect light I have the redder the leaves will turn but be careful not to burn me.
Light watering
Even though I have cactus in my name I am not drought resistant, remember I originate from a rainforest. Let the top inches of soil dry out in between waterings. Water thoroughly until it runs out the bottom of the pot but don't leave me sitting in a puddle. Reduce watering in the wintertime when I am in my dormant phase.
Care Tips
If repotting please use a well draining houseplant soil mix to prevent water-logging occurring around my roots. No need to use cactus mix as this is primarily for desert cacti and I'm a little different.
