The cotton cord used to make this pot has been carefully hand dyed with logwood and speckled with logwood chips. As proof of its organic nature, the colour may change slightly with time.

The purple tones and specks have been extracted from the logwood using a variety of techniques, then fixed onto the fibres with a non-toxic fixative.
